The phone line you use to connect to the Internet is busy.
The dialer should dial the next number stored in the user's dial location. If only one number is stored for that location, you should see the following message: The number dialed is busy. Check the phone number to be dialed.
Try the following:

Try dialing the number on a handset and see if you get an audible connection to a modem. If you do not hear modem tones, you problably are not dialing the correct number. Obtain the correct phone number and re-configure your connection. |

If you have the correct number, re-boot your computer - turn it off, wait a minute, then turn it back on again, then re-try the connection. |

If that doesn't work, refer to a qualified technician. |
